Microsoft continues to make highly beneficial changes with the updates released for Windows 11, increasing stability for users. A little-known new feature in Windows 11 can make your tasks much easier during tough times. Here are the details…
The ‘End Task’ feature for Windows 11…
As you know, one of the areas where Microsoft made the most changes in Windows 11 is the Taskbar. The Taskbar, which has undergone several functional and visual updates, now includes a hidden feature that can be life-saving when your computer gets stuck.
In Windows 11, when an application stops working or freezes, right-clicking and trying to close it sometimes doesn’t work. At this point, you would need to use the ‘Ctrl – Alt – Del’ combination, open the Task Manager, find the application, right-click it, and then click ‘End Task’.
However, thanks to a simple new hidden feature in Windows 11, you can skip this frustrating process with just one click. The right-click ‘End Task’ button added to Windows 11 allows you to end processes without entering the Task Manager.
As you can see from the image above, by going to Settings -> System -> For Developers and then turning on the ‘End Task’ option, you can activate this feature. After that, when you right-click any icon in the Taskbar, the ‘End Task’ button will appear.
